Job Description - OTC Sales Trader

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Execution-Driven Sales-Trader for our OTC desk based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales trading of traditional financial products and cryptocurrencies, demonstrating a proven track record in a fast-paced trading environment. This role requires an individual who is an independent thinker yet a collaborative team player, always focused on hitting key performance indicators and driving results. Key areas of responsibility:
  • Execute trades efficiently across a variety of financial products, including cryptocurrencies, ensuring optimal client satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional sales support and market insights.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify trading opportunities, strategies, and market trends.
  • Be proactive in taking on projects and initiatives that contribute to the growth and efficiency of the OTC desk.
  • Maintain flexibility with work schedules and time zone arrangements to meet the global nature of the trading environment.
  • Consistently focus on achieving and exceeding individual and team KPIs.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry developments, regulatory changes, and technological advancements.
Technical competencies and skills:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a fast-paced sales trading environment.
  • Proven experience in trading traditional financial products and cryptocurrencies.
  • Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in more than two additional languages considered a significant asset.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering strong client and team relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Independent thinker with the ability to contribute creatively to team strategies and goals.
  • Must be willing to be flexible in work hours and time zone arrangements to accommodate the global trading market.
