Job Description
We are looking for a Pharmacist to join our team in Ajman. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medication, providing advice on the safe use of prescription drugs, and helping customers with their healthcare needs.
The successful candidate must have knowledge of pharmaceutical medications, including dosage forms, generic and brand names, indications, side effects and contraindications. They should also be able to provide consultation services about the appropriate use of medications, as well as any potential interactions with other drugs or supplements. Additionally, they must ensure compliance with national and local laws regarding the dispensing of medication.
Responsibilities:
• Dispense medications according to prescriptions issued by medical practitioners
• Assist customers in selecting the most appropriate over-the-counter medications for their needs
• Ensure compliance with national and local laws regarding the sale and dispensing of medication
• Provide consultation services about the use of prescription drugs and over-the-counter medications
• Monitor patient drug therapies by reviewing prescriptions to determine appropriateness of dosage, drug interactions and potential side effects
• Provide information on proper storage conditions for drugs to ensure their safety and effectiveness
• Maintain accurate records of patient profiles including medical history data, allergies and current medications
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification from a recognized university
• Licensed as a pharmacist in UAE or willing to obtain a license
• Fluent English language skills (written & verbal)
