Job Title: Project Manager (POS) Our client: A leading conglomerate in the UAE Job Purpose: The Project Manager (POS) is tasked with orchestrating the seamless rollout of Point-of-Sale (POS) systems while ensuring integration with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions. This role involves collaborative efforts with business, finance, and information technology teams to deliver a comprehensive project plan, manage budgets, mitigate risks, and oversee a dedicated project team. Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the POS rollout within the Programme, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Provide transparent and regular status reports to stakeholders.
- Effectively manage the performance of Field Engineers, particularly focusing on the successful implementation of retail ground rollouts.
- Develop meticulously detailed project plans, identifying resource requirements and budgetary allocations.
- Host weekly project meetings to maintain alignment and address any emerging issues.
- Proactively manage project risks and issues while diligently maintaining project documentation.
- Offer constructive feedback, guidance, and updates to team members to foster a collaborative environment.
- Maintain strict adherence to project deadlines, pushing the team to achieve timely deliverables.
- Coordinate closely with vendors and suppliers to streamline processes and ensure seamless integration.
Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Accumulate at least 7 years of hands-on experience in project/program management.
- Demonstrate expertise in cloud Software as a Service (SaaS) implementations with intricate integrations across various internal and external systems.
- Previous experience in overseeing ERP SaaS solutions, particularly across retail and diverse industries and with Xstore POS.
- Proficiency in Oracle xStore POS, with knowledge of Oracle (RMSv14) and SAP being advantageous.
- Exhibit a strong technical aptitude and a deep understanding of complex software functionalities and design principles.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential, particularly in facilitating teamwork, managing stakeholders, and influencing outcomes.
- Possess proficiency in MS Office tools, with a mandatory requirement for familiarity with project management software such as MS Project.
- Fluent in English.
