Job Description : We are currently seeking to fill the position of Senior Aircraft Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to new UAV projects Development. This is a permanent role with our client based in the UAE. The selected candidate will develop mechanical solutions for structure/aerostructure, mechanical devices for autonomous systems application and packaging of electronics equipment. Job responsibilities: • Design and test primary and secondary aircraft structure in both composite or metallic. • Design and test aircraft mechanism like MLG, NLG, aileron mechanism, swash plate,.. • Development of aircraft systems like drive train, hydraulic, braking, fuel,.. • Design for electrical equipment in term of mass, volume, thermal, vibration, EMI,.. • Perform weight and balance and Performance checks Profile / Requirements : • Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering • Minimum 8 years of experience in aerospace • Good knowledge of CATIA Solid modeling and GSD • At least 3 years managing UAV project development • Knowledge of ARP4754, DO-264 guidelines and MIL-STD 961D standard.
