Senior Information Technology Manager

Job Description

The Senior Manager of Information Technology will play a pivotal role in leading the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of IT initiatives, with a primary focus on CRM and ERP solutions, to enhance organizations operational efficiency and impact. Senior IT Manager is to provide strategic leadership and oversight to the Information Technology (IT) department within an organization. This role is crucial in aligning technology initiatives with the overall goals and objectives of the foundation. The Senior IT Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of IT systems, implementing new technologies, and managing a team of two IT professionals.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with senior management to identify and prioritize IT initiatives that enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and telecommunications.
• Provide leadership in delivering responsive and effective IT support services to end-users.
• Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff members' IT proficiency and awareness.
• Oversee the seamless integration of CRM and ERP platforms with existing IT infrastructure and other organizational systems.
• Establish and enforce data management and quality standards within the CRM and ERP systems.
• Develop protocols for data migration, validation, and ongoing data maintenance.
• Implement monitoring tools to assess the performance of CRM and ERP systems.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the IT team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Develop and manage the IT department budget, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate technology solutions into organizational processes.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality of services.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the NGO's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and telecommunications.
• Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of all IT systems.
• Conduct regular performance assessments and provide professional development opportunities for team members.
• Oversee the seamless integration of CRM and ERP platforms with existing IT infrastructure and other organizational systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any integration issues to ensure optimal functionality.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to users, ensuring a smooth adoption process.
• Ensure compliance with relevant data protection and privacy regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 8+ years' experience in IT projects, with minimum 2 years of leadership experience; 10+ years' experience working for education or development sector preferred with grants systems
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, master preferred.

Timeline & Terms

• Remote (based in the time zone with maximum of 2 hours difference with UAE)
