Job Description

To lead Global Transaction Banking Operations (Payment Centre, Payment Investigations, Cheques Clearing, Trade Operations (Middle and Back Office), Reconciliations, Expense Control Unit) onshore & offshore from both operational and strategic perspectives across all customer segments. To ensure the alignment between the overall Group’s strategy and the delivery of the functions within remit.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and direct the implementation of the functional strategy ensuring alignment to group strategy, FAB vision, mission and corporate objectives. Ensure that functional strategy and related strategic plans are developed and implemented, which are aligned with the vision and mission of the bank. Manage the effective achievement of functional objectives through effective leadership and by setting of individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating team to maximise performance Oversee the consolidation and recommend the functional budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget Develop and lead the implementation of GTB functional policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls covering all areas Lead the management of change through continuous improvement of functional systems, processes and practices taking into account global standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans Ensure that all functional reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet FAB requirements, policies and quality standards

Qualifications

Minimum of 15 years of professional experience with senior management position within relevant field(s) Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institute / Master’s Degree is preferred. Degree Preferences: Banking, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Business Management
