Communications Specialist

Job Description:

Targa Resources is seeking a dedicated and experienced Communications Specialist to join our team in Abu Dhabi on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related field. As an Associate level position, the Communications Specialist will report to the Communications Manager and will be responsible for executing a variety of communication strategies to enhance the company's brand reputation and engage key stakeholders.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement communication plans and strategies to support Targa Resources' business objectives - Create engaging content for internal and external communications, including press releases, website content, social media posts, and marketing materials - Monitor and analyze media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities for proactive communication - Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all platforms - Assist in the planning and execution of special events, including conferences, seminars, and meetings - Serve as a spokesperson for the company and respond to inquiries from the media and public - Support crisis communication efforts and manage issues as they arise - Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to support communication initiatives

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field - Minimum of 2 years of experience in communications or a similar role - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Resilient and passionate individual with a positive attitude - Excellent negotiation and innovation skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and social media platforms - Prior experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus
