Quality Engineer - Manufacturing 6 Months -Outside IR35 - Urgent Position

Quality Engineer required to support ongoing project

The primary role involves working closely with Document Control personnel to investigate and resolve issues of non-conformance in legacy products or processes. This involves generating documentation related to Field Change Requests (FCR) and Requests for Information (RFI).

The secondary function is to provide support to the engineering and production teams during shop floor meetings, acting as the main point of contact for quality-related issues and concerns. The goal is to support the teams in improving product quality and reducing the potential for product rework. This involves supporting the development of process documentation, such as build plans and Inspection and Test Plans.

The role requires a solid understanding of engineering drawings, welding, NDT techniques, document control, and the associated quality functions. Additional duties may be assigned based on experience and understanding of Quality Assurance.
