Financial Accountant Job Type: Full-time We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to support our CFO and play a pivotal role in the financial management of our company. This position involves a range of responsibilities including the preparation of reconciliations, accounts payable, costing materials, cash application, invoicing, purchase order releases, capital management, and conducting inventory audits. The successful candidate will ensure that our financial results are in line with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) or international financial reporting standards (IFRS). Oversee the company’s financials and maintain comprehensive account reconciliations, including cash. Uphold and refine accounting policies and procedures. Prepare payroll for European countries and undertake HR duties as required. Collaborate with the credit department on new customer credit lines. Facilitate weekly check runs and manage the accounting operations of subsidiaries. Work closely with operations personnel to ensure compliance with inventory policies and accurate product costing. Conduct financial analyses for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations. Manage VAT and other tax-related responsibilities. BA/BS in Accounting. Willingness to travel occasionally. Strong cost accounting and analytical skills, with a high degree of accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, particularly advanced Excel skills.
