MIDWEIGHT EDITOR London / Hybrid - £46k Our client is an award-winning creative production agency in London with an enviable client list. They now have an opening for a mid-weight hybrid editor to join the team. An opportunity to work across some brilliant brands, alongside an agency team, full of energy and passion. Role Overview: In this role, you will be predominantly working on social content films including short documentaries, branded content, TVC’s, how to videos, and cut downs and motion graphics projects. From time to time you’ll also need to work closely with the live action production team on projects where they're shooting and delivering the final work through the post team. As a hybrid editor you’ll have a great understanding of the working practices of a post-production company and experience working in-house for a creative agency. Key Responsibilities: Creation of Broadcast TVC’s, online VOD, social content and internal content such as case studies and films. Collaborating with the Head of Edit to enhance creative standards. Bringing ideas to creative briefings and collaborating with creatives and creative directors to further advance the creative ambition of every project. Delivering video formats for social and broadcast specs, ideally including experience in clocking. Working and building relationships with producers, creatives, creative directors and account managers. Creation of mood films and research material. Work together with the team to provide support and collaboration contribute to everyone’s creative and professional growth. Requirements: MacOSX literate including key software: Premiere Pro, AfterFX and Da Vinci Resolve. Good understanding of current social platforms and creating relevant content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. A strong creative eye with a commitment to nurturing and developing it further. Pro-active problem solver. An entrepreneurial mindset. Excellent attention to detail. Passionate about the quality of all creative output. Builds strong relationships with team members and clients alike.
