Insurance Technician/ Customer service

Insurance Officer We are looking to recruit an Insurance Officer in our Head Office Insurance Team, on a full-time basis. Reporting to our Insurance Manager, the Insurance Officer’s main tasks will include:- Proactive handling of Third Party Damage claims, as well as a section of Third Party Injury claims, for the Company, within the terms of our insurance arrangements & departmental financial limits. Working largely autonomously, the postholder will deal with all aspects of claims from intimation to conclusion. Supporting both the Insurance Manager & Head of Risk by assisting with Operational Risk projects, preparing statistical reports & analysis. Deputising for Senior Insurance Officer, as required, including increased level TP Injury claim handling & supervisory aspects of role. Suitable claims handling experience within an insurance or legal environment. ACII qualification (or legal equivalent), or progression towards same, would be advantageous. 25 hours per week, generally Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm. Competitive salary dependent on experience
