- Starting Salary: Circa £25,000 per annum depending on experience + fantastic company benefits
- Contract: Permanent, full-time position.
- Hours: Monday to Friday (with 3pm finishes on Fridays!!)
- Location: Office - based role located just South of Bristol City Centre (just a 20-minute walk from Temple Meads Train Station)
The Office Assistant role:
- You will be managing the arrival experience for clients and visitors, providing a friendly, welcoming, and professional first impression for the business, managing incoming calls and handling incoming/outgoing deliveries.
- Arranging meetings and ordering catering as required, as well as Researching and booking business travel
- Helping the team with general administrative duties including managing office supplies and assisting with ad hoc tasks.
- On occasion, you will also be required to assist with research and human factor studies as part of the design and development projects.
- Some facilities duties to ensure the offices are well maintained
The ideal person for the Office Assistant role:
Someone who is professional, reliable, pro-active, positive and works to high standards. You must be able to multi-task, effectively prioritise your workload and be highly organised. You will have a friendly and accommodating manner and find it easy to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Previous Receptionist / Administration or Customer Service experience is essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident to use own initiative and be ability to juggle priorities
- Quick learner and an appetite to pick up new skills and technologies
