This comprehensive accounting role requires a deep understanding of indirect tax laws and regulations, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders within the organisation. Manage Indirect Tax compliance process for the Whitbread group. Provide advice and support to the business on indirect tax matters. In addition, work with and support Tax Manager in Germany and Finance Director in UAE. Manage Indirect Tax audits, disputes, enquiries and correspondence from the Tax authorities. Minimise Tax risks by ensuring there are processes and controls in place and documented. In-depth, practical knowledge of UK VAT, GST and sales taxes in other countries.
