Miba Aktiengesellschaft manufactures powertrain and other transport components primarily through three divisions: sintered components, bearings, and friction materials. Its sintered products include bearing caps, sprockets, and oil pump gears. Miba's line of engine bearings are used on cars, trucks, aircraft, trains, power generation systems, ships, and construction equipment. When it's time to slow things down, Miba's friction division manufactures brake and clutch components for everything from cars and trucks to construction machinery and railway vehicles. The company was founded in 1927 as an engine component repair and production shop. About two-thirds of Miba's sales come from Europe.
