Digital Project ManagerDecider, part of the New York Post Digital Network, seeks a Digital Project Manager to lead digital projects, manage content, and support editorial for one of the fastest growing entertainment sites in the country. This is an opportunity to play a key role in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and join a spirited and respected media brand as it continues to grow at record pace.This is an opportunity to join a close knit team with a startup mentality and make an immediate impact.Candidates should have a big picture, product-oriented perspective while maintaining an eye for detail especially as it relates to user-facing editorial.The ideal candidate will be able to:* Simultaneously manage one-off projects as well as multiple continuous editorial tasks, with minimal supervision* Support editorial (writers, designers, social media managers) on both daily/weekly tasks as well as larger endeavors* Get up to speed quickly and independently on multiple platforms and tools (including main publishing CMS as well as email newsletter + content alert + video publishing + other platforms)* Take ownership of multiple content types and strategies, including email newsletter products* Be proactive, energetic and a creative thinker, especially as it regards improvement of editorial products both large and small across the site* Exhibit strong communication skills and interact efficiently and productively with intra-company colleagues and third party vendors* Be highly organized and detail-oriented* Demonstrate a nimble understanding of when to reprioritize and when to escalate* When necessary, lead thorough cross-browser and cross-device QA, including accurate and detailed reporting and verificationThe ideal candidate will have:* 3+ years‘ experience leading large projects at a website, agency, tech or media company* General best practices for digital products* An understanding of the latest digital trends and products, especially in a media context* An understanding of how analytics, data and user feedback inform digital decision-making, and the ability to adapt accordingly* Strong organization and communication, a keen eye for detail, a user-centric perspective, and the ability to nimbly adjust priorities* WordPress knowledge a strong plus* Experience working with various editorial product/platform types a strong plus* Interest in and passion for streaming/television/film is a major plusNote: The New York Post has returned to office in a hybrid work model/Salary Range: $50,000- $145,000At The New York Post we recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company.
