Foti Contracting, a cornerstone of excellence in masonry and general contracting since 1962, is seeking a skilled Masonry Estimator/Project Manager to join our dedicated team. In this critical role, you will oversee masonry projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Estimating:
- Serve as the primary contact for clients and the point person for multiple project coordination.
- Perform detailed takeoffs and site surveys; prepare and analyze cost estimates.
- Identify labor, materials, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, and specifications.
- Obtain competitive bids from vendors and subcontractors, negotiating costs and terms.
- Prepare detailed project narratives to clarify the scope of work for clients.
- Submit timely bids and quotes; negotiate and prepare change orders as required.
- Handle pre-bid reviews and post-bid analysis to optimize project financials.
Project Management:
- Oversee the project handoff, initiation, and operational meetings to ensure seamless execution.
- Support project execution by preparing and reviewing operational documents like shop drawings and submittals.
- Coordinate and monitor project progress, manage monthly projections, and schedule necessary meetings.
- Assist in project-related financial management, including invoicing, subcontractor payments, and final quantity negotiations.
- Engage in client relations and strategic marketing activities to support business objectives.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- 3-5 years of proven experience as a Masonry Estimator or Project Manager in the masonry construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, masonry techniques, and materials.
- Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in estimation software including; Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), Procore, Adobe, Tradesmen and On-screen Take-off.
- Must possess a current driver's license or government photo ID.
- Current drug-free card and OSHA 30-hour training certification preferred (training will be provided)
- Exceptional communication, negotiation skills, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage non-standardized situations.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Team-oriented with a proactive approach to supporting colleagues and project requirements.
