Medical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Phone Screener/Medical Front Desk Receptionist.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required.
This is a FULL TIME/TEMP TO HIRE position requiring availability between the hours of 8:30 AM- 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, located in Virginia Beach, VA 23456).
Responsibilities :
A Day in the Life of a Phone Screener/ Medical Front Desk Receptionist :
As a Phone Screener, you will be asked to cover the Front Desk as needed, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient care while abiding by all HIPAA laws and regulations in an outpatient clinic setting. Your role is instrumental in answering the multi-line phone system in a cordial, professional, and respectful manner. You will then address or send the call to the right individual. You will also assist in covering the Front Desk Reception as needed.
Requirements for the Phone Screener/ Medical Front Desk Receptionist :
- Required: At least 1-year experience as a Phone Screener/ Medical Front Desk Receptionist
- Required: COVID Vaccinated with Booster
- Required: Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Screen
- Required: Must be reliable and a quick learner and have the ability to multi-task with accuracy in a very busy environment
- Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Required: Excellent people skills that can show up to work every day
Preferred Qualifications for the Phone Screener/ Medical Front Desk Receptionist :
- Preferred: Experienced in working in a Gastroenterology Clinic
