DESCRIPTION
The Challenge: Whole Foods Market Engineering Services is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer who can own test planning, drive automation, and develop test strategies for high-impact projects in our newly-formed team. This team will be tackling some of our most complex and challenging projects and will deliver innovative technical solutions to advance the retail grocery industry.

The Role: Everyone on the team needs to be entrepreneurial, wear many hats, and work in a highly collaborative environment. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of technologies from front-end UI (both web and device) to back-end distributed web services to device software. You will own the quality of major deliverables end-to-end, working closely with multiple engineering and product teams to execute them. Reliability, latency, and customer experience are top priorities for our business. We are an early-stage initiative, and you will play an active role in translating business requirements into concrete quality assurance concepts in partnership with technology leaders within the team and across the business.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
- Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality
