Full Time Plant - Day Shift - Non-Union

Requirements:

• A four-year degree preferred
• A minimum of five years’ experience in scrap metal processing, melting, casting, rolling, maintenance, finishing
• Shipping / Warehousing operations experience a plus
• MUST HAVE FERROUS SHREDDER experience

Responsibilities:

• Control the workflow within your area of responsibility to minimize downtime and breakdowns.
• Maximize productivity, monitor performance manage routine processing
• Train employees
• Coach and develop the team at failure analysis while supporting QIS methodology
• Encourage operators on subjects pertaining to GBS, 5S preventive maintenance etc.,
• Establish a productive, high performing and safety conscious work team in a steel mill environment with a focus a safety, environmental, production costs quality, and people management
• Ensure improvement in processes, products, and production
• Conduct trend analysis, compile and analyze symptoms and failures
• Administer all safety activities
• Establish and negotiate cell goals.
• Support daily routine management activities and day to day work

Six figure salary plus bonus - 8-hour day shift - great benefits and company paid relocation.
