Structural Engineer for Bridge Maintenance Project (Oakland Park) - Dynamic Team

Florida Drawbridges is looking for a Structural Engineer

FDI is an Asset Maintenance contractor specializing in movable and fixed bridges.

We are looking for a detailed and experienced Structural Engineer to help ensure Contract Success for our multi-bridge contract located in SE Florida. The ideal candidate must bring strong experience in leadership and management, proactively managing projects' technical requirements and customer service. This position has advancement opportunities.

Essential Duties

• Provide engineering oversight for the repair and maintenance of bridges under contract.
• Review NBI Reports
• Oversee skills training for quality performance.
• Consider government regulations and potential environmental hazards.
• Manage interface with large-scale NBI inspection program. Including bridge and other civil structure inspections, inspection report review and analysis, and resultant corrective work planning/scheduling.
• Track maintenance work needs and completed projects.
• Liaison with agency engineers to discuss repair procedures, corrective action prioritization, responsible party, etc.
• Work with leadership to discuss innovative engineering solutions for field repairs and emergency response on transportation infrastructure assets.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Structural/Civil Engineer degree (Required)
• Florida PE license (Required)
• 10 years of bridge maintenance experience (Preferable field experience)
• FDOT bridge project experience (Preferable)
• Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering experience on civil projects
