We are currently seeking a Marketing Manager to fill an essential role within our growing organization. The primary focus of this position is responsible for planning and executing successful participation with trade show and industry events and uses creativity to design product advertisements for industry publications, company websites, and other online and print media. This role will ensure that organizational branding and marketing communications are consistent with clear customer-centric communications and messages.  This is a full-time, exempt position based out of our Fort Myers, FL, USA Corporate HQ. Salary will be based on knowledge, skills, education, and abilities.

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement, edit/update/maintain, and/or archive digital content for internal and external use. 
  • Create, update, and strengthen branding/brand messaging to ensure alignment with organization’s quality goals and consistent messaging presence on all material / media. 
  • Create and/or update marketing and internal content (i.e., order forms) to ensure product descriptions are translated into customer-focused and user-friendly communications. 
  • Oversees the editing and updating of content and layout deliverables. 
  • Simplify complex data into user friendly formats (such as graphs, charts, and other visible aids for customers and other staff) 
  • Plan, prepare for, and attend trade shows and industry events, ensuring all the I’s are dotted and Ts are crossed. 
  • Manage third party vendors and services as it relates to Marketing and industry events and negotiate contracts for marketing services as approved by senior leadership.
  • Manage marketing print and copy to capture attention and drive action. 
  • Strengthen the company’s social media presence. 
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and HR to interview, train, and coach subordinate team members if needed. 
  • Provides tools and resources to subordinates, TPA's,  and/or other team members for successful project / task completion. 
  • Business related national travel. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

 

  • Must have the ability to support multiple projects at a time. 
  • Be able to consistently and effectively present information and respond promptly to email/messages, questions or inquiries.  
  • Be able to successfully meet deadlines, prioritize workload and have excellent time management skills. 
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage workload for self and others is needed. 
  • Advanced skills needed with Office 365 and graphics editing programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or other similar programs. 
  • Proficient skills needed with ERP systems such as Epicor, NetSuite, or similar programs. 
  • Experience and knowledge of traditional (print/copy) marketing skills and digital marketing tools.  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are needed.  
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills are required, with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.  
  • Must speak, read, and write English and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Must have a current/valid US driver’s license and maintain throughout employment. 
  • Must be willing to travel up to 30% of the time for trade shows and industry events. 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  

 

Educational Requirements: A bachelors degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or other related field with ten (10) years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of related experience, education, and/or training.
