JOB OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks/projects that address the needs of the department. The assignments are related to the academic major and the degree of the Intern. The assignments may include conducting research. As possible, a reasonable balance will be made between the intern's learning goals and the specific assignments.
Please note: This is a hybrid internship opportunity, requiring attendance 2-3 days per week at our location in Melville, NY.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Information systems quality assurance process review and documentation
- Technology solutions corporate office IT change management process review and documentation
- Documentation and training on the DQSA and OTM/GTM projects
- Participate in testing & implementing IT change management process on Atlassian/Jira platform
- With help from the QA experts, develop training manuals for QA and Development users
- Work with Requisition to Receipt team and learn how the applications are integrated and how they function
- Work with the Procure to Pay team and learn processes

- Typically High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
COMPENSATION:
The posted hourly rate for this internship position is based on both your education and location.
Candidates possessing up to and including a high school diploma can receive either $15 or $16/hr depending on location.
Candidates currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or equivalent can receive either $18 or $20/hr depending on location.
Candidates possessing a bachelor's degree or equivalent and currently pursuing an advanced, post-graduate degree (i.e., MS, MBA, JD, etc.) can receive either $22 or $24/hr depending on location.
