Data Science Engineer Contractor

Kaizen Analytix LLC, an analytics consulting services and product firm that gives clients unmatched speed to value through analytics solutions and actionable business insights, is seeking candidates for a talented Data Science Engineer to join our team.

As a Data Science Engineer, you will be expected to take existing data science models and productionalize their operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, including experience with Azure, ETL processes, Python and SQL.

Responsibilities:

• Productionalize an existing prototype applying standard software development procedures and deploy on Azure platform.
• Ability to understand, assess, and explain the underlying data science techniques like forecasting and optimization.
• Create and automate data pipelines as necessary.
• Design and develop scripts necessary for the data extraction processes. Automate the data extraction processes if necessary.
• Work on Data analysis and Development related assignments as required.
• Design and write tests to cover as much of the code as possible.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or other applied mathematical discipline, with at least 1 year of relevant professional experience
• Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Data Science, or other applied mathematical discipline, with at least 2 years of relevant professional experience

Education and Experience:

or

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Data Science, or other applied mathematical discipline, with at least 2 years of relevant professional experience
• Expertise in statistical and data analysis
• Experienced in Python, SQL & Data Pipelines
• Familiar with Scrum Methodology & JIRA
• Excellent written, verbal skills
• Experience in Microsoft Azure Platform.
• Experience in deploying models on Azure Machine Learning/ AI Studio a plus.
• Travel: 80-100% - most work done at client site
