About Us: Champion Homes is a dynamic and innovative company in the manufactured housing space.
Summary: We are looking for a talented and creative Writer to join our fast-paced marketing team. In this
position, you will be responsible for creating content for a variety of different marketing platforms, including
blog posts, press releases, social media content, website copy, email and ad campaigns, video scripts, and
printed marketing materials such as brochures and flyers. The ideal team member will have a passion for
storytelling, excellent writing skills, the curiosity of a reporter, and the desire to learn and grow as a
professional writer in a corporate environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Marketing: Write and edit copy for marketing collateral including brochures, newsletters, print and
online ads, email campaigns and more.
• Social Media: Support the social media team by developing captions for various platforms.
• Blog and Websites: Write and edit copy for blog posts and website pages while optimizing them for
SEO. Research topics that will resonate with our audience.
• Storytelling: Craft and curate copy for longer form content such as long articles or video scripts. This
includes conducting interviews to gather information for articles or features.
• Press Releases: Understanding the essentials of writing a successful corporate press releases.
• Taglines: Develop and present slogans and taglines for various campaigns or promotions.
• Brand Voice: Utilize, develop and expand our brand voice in all writing.

Competencies:
• Demonstrated experience and writing examples of press releases, including to investor audiences
• Highly skilled writer that excels at creating original and engaging messages and copy
• Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proven accomplished writer with a strong portfolio.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to conduct successful interviews

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications or related field.
• 1-3 years' experience in marketing communications.
• Fluent with Microsoft Office programs
