Online Web Chat Assistant

Job Description:

J.C. Penney is seeking a motivated and reliable Online Web Chat Assistant to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. As an Entry Level position, this role is ideal for individuals with at least 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a persuasive personality that can engage customers in online chat conversations.

Responsibilities: 1. Engage with customers through online chat to provide assistance, answer questions, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. 2. Utilize knowledge of products and services to provide recommendations and help customers make informed purchasing decisions. 3. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 4. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless online shopping experience for customers. 5. Stay up-to-date on company policies, products, and promotions to provide accurate information to customers. 6. Assist with any additional tasks or projects as needed to support the online customer service team.

Requirements: 1. 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field. 2. Reliable and independent work ethic. 3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 4. Persuasive personality with strong customer engagement skills. 5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
