A well-established steel company is looking to hire an Industrial Forklift Operator in the Lakeland, FL area. As an Industrial Forklift Operator you will be responsible for operating a heavy duty forklift to hall finished steel to and from the shop. If you can operate a forklift, have a great attitude and strong work ethic, we want to hear from you! This is a great opportunity to be a part of a great team!

What You’ll Be Doing

• Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
• Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
• Transport raw materials to production workstations
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance

Who We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a heavy duty forklift operator required
• Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
• Excellent physical condition and coordination
• Steel toe boots or shoes required

What You Can Expect

• $23.00/hour, starting pay rate
• Typical schedule of Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm
