Material Handler 1st Shift - Continuous Learning Opportunities

One of the largest distributors of food products in the U.S., Latin America, and the Caribbean, with a customer list that includes independent and chain supermarkets, foodservice distributors, processors and manufacturers, cruise lines, and restaurants is looking to hire a Dock Worker for their export team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information
• Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets
• Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles and containers, by hand or using tan electric pallet jack
• Other duties as assigned

Who We’re Looking For

• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• 1 year experience operating electric pallet jack
• Forklift experience a plus
• Material Handling experience a plus
• Policies and procedures to promote effective safety and security of people and facilities
• Ability to stand, walk and bend for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs

What You Can Expect

• $16.00 - $17.00/hr depending on experience
• Schedule of Sunday 5:00am - 4:00pm Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 5:00pm
