Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Cedar Park

Employment Type: Part-time (3 days per week), with potential for full-time growth

Our Real Estate client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join their Accounting team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to our organization. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing accounts payable processes, handling invoices, and ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable using accounting software and other relevant programs.
• Handle accounts payable for various entities and vendors.
• Analyze workflow processes to improve efficiency.
• Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors.
• Ensure bills and payroll are paid accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to departmental procedures.
• Process due invoices for payments.
• Perform accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries, and reconciling books of accounts.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• 3 years of accounts payable work experience.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• Excellent data entry skills, including 10-key by touch.
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and accounting software.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PDF, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High degree of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills.
• High school diploma or GED.

This role will initially be part-time (3 days per week) with the opportunity for growth into a full-time position as our business expands.
