About job:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Event Specialist to join our team. As an Event Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events, such as conferences, seminars, trade shows, and corporate retreats. Your creativity and attention to detail will help create memorable experiences for our clients and attendees.

Salary Range: $21.00 - $32.00 per hour

Job: Full time

Location: Houston, TX

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and develop event concepts and themes.
• Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, and budgeting.
• Manage event timelines and ensure all tasks are completed within the specified deadlines.
• Oversee event marketing and promotion, including the creation of invitations, social media posts, and online advertisements.
• Arrange for necessary event equipment, such as audiovisual systems, signage, and displays.
• Coordinate with speakers, presenters, and performers to ensure they have all the necessary resources and support.
• Supervise event staff and volunteers, assign duties, and provide guidance throughout the event.

• Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, or a related field.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and attendees.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to ensure events meet client expectations and overcome challenges.
• Proficient in event management software and technology, such as event registration platforms and project management tools.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as events may take place outside of regular business hours.
