HR Generalist - Generous Compensation

A client of ours in the manufacturing industry located in La Porte is looking for an HR Generalist to join their team!

This is Direct Hire position is 100% onsite - Mon-Fri 8-5am $60-$65K

Responsibilities include

• Managing human resource issues related to training, payroll, recruitment, compliance and employee relations for an international company.
• Responsible for all day-to-day coordination of human resource and payroll support to the Company.

• Process payroll using ADP system
• Implement and maintain Web-based performance review system.
• Assist manager with their recruitment efforts. Through the company recruitment database, post, screen and advise.
• Assist with benefit renewals and workers compensation throughout the year and during renewal.
• Assist in the creation of training programs that will assist in the development of employees. Assist in various training and development materials and programs. Coordinate scheduling of training programs.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree required. Business, HR or finance preferred
• 5 years experience in human resources in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of payroll practices and procedures
• Solid understanding and/or expert knowledge of regulatory and compliance in the U.S. and Canada.
• Computer Skills specific to Microsoft Suite, Payroll databases, Outlook, and ERP systems.
• Ability to research and apply conclusions to various employee issues based on regulatory compliance.
• Able to create spreadsheets in Excel to report and analyze employee data is required. Able to analyze and draw business conclusions on salary information as well as manufacturing related information, required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
