The Global Logistics product team is seeking an outstanding candidate to lead the drayage product. Global Shipping provides logistics solutions for cross-border movement of retail and FBA inventory. The Global Logistics team is searching for a Principal Product Manager Technical to lead a high-impact strategic initiative. In this role, you will collaborate with business owners, product managers, and leaders across the organization. You will also work closely with Amazon Middle Mile, external partners, and last-mile carriers to design customer solutions worldwide.
Key job responsibilities
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to establish strategies, visions, and roadmaps for product growth and global expansion.
- Envisioning the requirements of our diverse customer base, both internal and external, and creating innovative products and scalable enhancements.
- Guiding discussions on investment, prioritization, and trade-offs.
- Collaborating with diverse teams, including technical teams, to define comprehensive product, business, and system requirements for complex and large-scale product launches.
- Overseeing project milestones from design to launch, proactively resolving strategic and tactical issues, and providing cross-functional leadership to ensure successful program delivery.
- Identifying and analyzing product and business metrics to drive improvements and gain a deeper understanding of customer and seller needs.
- Taking responsibility for the overall product experience and financial performance of the product area.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, business analytics, information systems or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience technical product management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
