Metal Finisher
Contract to Hire
Monday - Friday 7:00am to 3:30 pm
$21.00 to $23.00 hr.
Daily Activities will Include:- Manipulate more complex parts to match print and dimensional specifications
- Ensure that parts are not over or under finished
- Read dimensional drawings and tolerances Finish parts to acceptable standards ensuring customer satisfaction
- Ensures that material surface area is not scratched or damaged and ends of tubes are square and free of burrs
- Ensures parts conform to tight tolerances
- May work with manufacturing and quality engineers to resolve complex finishes
- Ensure tube ends are capped
- Perform laser etching on parts
- Minimal defects, 99.8% acceptance
- May perform DI rinse
- Perform peer inspections
- Ensure all equipment is calibrated to proper specifications
- Use hand and small power tools
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
- Will be working in a cleanroom
Required PPE:Safety Glasses or side glasses protectors when performing finishing
Facemask when performing finishing or use of down draft table

- Perform simple shop math
- Good computer skills in a windows environment, MRP/ERP systems; MS Office
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs; anything over that requires a two-person lift, or other lifting equipment
Educational and Experience Requirements:High School Diploma
