LHH is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a 1st shift, Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is an opportunity to join an industry leader in medical manufacturing and a competitive team environment. In this role, you will support all plant plastic injection manufacturing equipment including electrical systems, mechanical systems, and electronic components of machinery and equipment. This person will focus on the monitoring, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment. The compensation is commensurate to experience and ranges between $65,000 – 76,000 annually (85k-105K total expected with OT) per year and includes a comprehensive benefit package, Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Accountable for proper maintenance and repair of all plant equipment including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and commissioning.
Analyze, configure, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs and process instruments.
May be responsible for building and wiring control panels for machinery per blueprints and schematic.
Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listens for problems; uses precision measuring and testing instruments.
Completes preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic components, conveyor systems, and production machines; follows diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshoots malfunctions.
Daily interaction with plant floor employees to seek input on process improvement ideas.
Work closely with Process Engineering and other maintenance team members to support plant operations.
Qualifications:
Three to five years of experience in a manufacturing setting. Injection molding is a plus.
Demonstrated organizational abilities and priority-setting.
Must be able to work 1st shift hours
