Overview/Purpose:
Non-profit religious organization seeks a Human Resources Coordinator to assist in the day-to-day activities for their non-profit security grant program.
Reports to: Assistant Chief Administrative Officer
Shift: 9am - 5pm, Monday-Friday
Pay Range: $22-$24/hour, D.O.E.
Temp Assignment for 12-16 weeks
Job Title: Administrative Assistant
As administrative support for the Non-Profit Security Grant program, this role is instrumental in helping interested parishes apply for federal funding in order to make needed security improvements. This role assists with gathering the required paperwork and ensuring that all applications are submitted in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:- Compile all necessary documents for each parish's NPSG application.
- Create and manage parish accounts on the Statewide Financial System (SFS) and E-Grants.
- Ensure all parish applicants are prequalified in the State Financial System.
- Help complete the Investment Justification (IJ) for each parish application.
- Submit NPSG applications by the state's deadline.
Education, Experience, and Skills:- High school diploma a must; college degree preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across many departments.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work with data to prepare applications in a timely manner.
