Medical Assistant - Rewarding Work

This is a Monday-Friday 8am-5pm position @ the UCSF Lung Health Center: 400 Parnassus Ave. San Francisco

The medical assistant will be rooming patients, taking vitals, administering "walk" tests, and also will be doing a variety of administrative tasks. They will be handling the voicemails/messages for the providers, coordinating with the DME (Durable Medical Equipment) companies they partner with, troubleshooting missing DME equipment, answering faxes for medical records from DME providers, processing medication refills and initiating medication requests. They will be cross-trained in all areas.

MUST HAVES

EPIC

CCMA Certification

Ability to Multitask in a fast-paced environment

Ability to perform both front & back office MA duties for each patient

6+ months experience in an Outpatient Clinic setting
