Job Title: CAS Miami Car Evaluator/Buyer
**In Office position in Miami Lakes, FL 33012 **
$60k annual + commission
Fluency in English is required.
Position Overview: The Sr. Evaluator focuses on vehicle appraisal and acquisition and is crucial to our automotive team. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of automotive market dynamics and the ability to assess vehicle conditions quickly and accurately. The Sr. Evaluator will use advanced data analytics and market research to guide vehicle procurement. Responsible for improving the speed and efficiency of the purchase cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Evaluation:
• Conduct thorough assessments of vehicles based on detailed photos, seller descriptions, and critical factors like age, mileage, and overall condition to determine marketability and value.
• Stay updated with market demand trends to gauge the potential success of each vehicle in our inventory.
• Provide detailed evaluation reports that contribute to strategic decision-making regarding vehicle acquisitions.
Continuing Improvement:
• Leverage data analytics and market research tools to refine and enhance vehicle pricing strategies and inventory management.
• Analyze online market trends, sales data, and customer preferences to ensure the inventory aligns with market demands and profitability goals.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of industry pricing trends and fluctuations to adapt buying strategies and pricing models effectively.
Purchase Cycle Reduction:
• Develop and implement strategies to produce bid amounts quickly, enhancing the ability to secure purchases in competitive scenarios.
• Suggest and apply process improvements for negotiation and handling customer inquiries to streamline operations and reduce time-to-purchase.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure the vehicle purchase process efficiently meets the fast-paced market demands.
Required Language(s) and Skills/Abilities:
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
● Ability to work independently.
● Familiarized with vehicle appraisal tools (MMR, Auction historical sales, Auto check)
● Experience Automotive Industry and damaged vehicles.
● Insight on the key factors that affect a vehicle's value.
● Fluent in English and Spanish
Education and Experience:
● Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; six months to one-year related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
● Minimum four years of experience in the automotive purchasing and auction field.
