We are hiring a hardworking eCommerce Marketing Manager to join our growing team at Ford Motor Company in Saint Paul, MN.

Trident ( ) is a smart accessory system that is being incubated by Ford Next Ventures. We are launching as a standalone business in 2023 with products for Ford Trucks, but our vision is to become a universal platform across all vehicle types and OEMs, with everything from Milwaukee tools to Thule bike racks compatible in our ecosystem.

The Trident go-to-market team is looking for an E-Commerce Marketing Manager, based in the SF Bay Area or Detroit Metropolitan area, willing manage our first and most important channel for sales. We are a startup backed by big company resources, and we are looking for the following attributes in our ideal candidate:

  • Comfort with ambiguity - Resourceful in getting the help you need

  • Analytical thinking - Weighing alternatives and making informed decisions

  • Strong communication - Spoken, visual, written, and on social media

  • Creativity - Original thinking & imagination

  • Develop and implement the e-commerce marketing strategy to drive online sales and customer acquisition, and CRM

  • Manage and optimize the company's e-commerce platform, including product listings, landing pages, and checkout process

  • Plan and execute e-commerce marketing campaigns, including email, social media, and paid advertising

  • Stand up a marketing automation system and work closely with a creative agency to develop the first 6 months of content before bringing in-house

  • Analyze and report on key metrics and trends, using data to inform and optimize marketing efforts

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing campaigns with overall business goals

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and incorporate them into the e-commerce marketing strategy

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce or digital marketing, with a proven track record

  • Experience with e-commerce platforms like Shopify

  • Experience managing creative & performance agency partners

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis

  • Experience creating dashboards and presenting to executives

  • Proficiency in e-commerce & CRM platforms and marketing automation tools

  • Excellent communication and project management skills
