Job Description - Marketing Assistant

The Miami office of Kubicki Draper is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our team and help drive marketing efforts with a primary focus on maintaining and enhancing our website. This role assists senior members of the marketing and business development team. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Website Management

Maintain and update WordPress-based website with the latest content, attorney bios, firm news, and publications.

Utilize various WordPress plugins to enhance the website's functionality and user experience.

Assist with website-related projects and improvements.

Utilize SEO best practices to optimize website content for search engines

  • Social Media Support

Assist with the planning and execution of social media campaigns.

Help manage the firm's social media accounts.

  • Marketing Materials Production

Produce pitch books.

Format, review, and edit PowerPoint presentations and other event materials.

Write, edit, and create client email alerts, event invitations, and press releases.

  • Calendar and Contact Management

Maintain business development and events dashboards/calendars to track important dates and activities.

Client Relationship Management

Update contact records to ensure an accurate and improved mailing list.

Maintains client database to improve marketing lists

Conduct research on clients and prospective clients to support marketing efforts.

  • Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) and a minimum of two years marketing experience.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in WordPress with experience managing and updating websites.

Knowledge of various WordPress plugins -- website optimization techniques is a plus

Experience in SEO is a plus

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.

Familiarity with social media platforms and marketing strategies.

Knowledge of Zoom and other webcast platforms

Excellent internet research skills

Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and email campaign software such as Constant Contact

Knowledge of design platforms such as Canva

Candidate must work well independently and in a team environment, while dealing with frequent deadlines and multiple priorities.
