Summary:
A metal recycling company located in Orlando is looking to hire an Material Inspector. This position is responsible for processing bails and weighing, sorting, and moving material. This role earns a weekly production bonus. Growth opportunities available.
Duties:
* Processing bails and moving material
* Inspecting materials throughout the scrapyard
* Advising customers of accepted and non-accepted scrap materials
* Guiding traffic within the yard
* Operating a forklift as needed
* Cross-training in other positions
Requirements:
* Comfortable working outdoors
* 2+ years of general laborer experience in construction, manufacturing, waste/recycling, or other related industry
* Motivated and willing to grow into a long-term career
* Able to lift up to 40lbs
* Ability to provide great customer service
* Forklift experience preferred
