Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst to join our Accounts Receivable department on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in reconciling accounts, identifying root causes of issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address past-due accounts effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Management on special projects and ad hoc reporting requirements.
• Prepare and review account summaries, reconciliations, and operational results, prioritizing and resolving accounts using a risk-based approach.
• Conduct root cause analysis for reconciling items and provide guidance to team members.
• Engage with various departments (customer service, sales, billing, tax, pricing, etc.) to communicate and resolve identified issues on a daily basis.
• Analyze financial accounts and recommend risk mitigation strategies as needed.
• Generate bi-monthly performance reports against established metrics.
• Assist in documenting processes and procedures, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree is advantageous.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Finance or Accounting roles.
• Proficiency in order-to-cash and procure-to-pay process flows.
• Thorough understanding of financial statements and financial statement analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with SAP is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Previous experience in a relevant position is desirable.
• Degree must be from an accredited institution.
