We are looking for a dynamic, self-starting Sr. Product Manager to define product requirements, set strategy, and tirelessly champion for the needs of our customers. As a Sr. Product Manager, you will own the end to end development of creating and refining new pricing tools for anyone who wants to utilize Amazon Air’s capacity. To do this you will work across research science, finance, technology, operations, sales, and engineering teams. This position requires a person with the ability to skillfully communicate with internal stakeholders, use analytics to solve complex problems, and stay hyper focused on the customers’ needs.

This position requires an employee’s full and unimpaired skills and judgment to safely execute their job duties to ensure the safety and security of Amazon AIR personnel, third-party contractors, Airport personnel, cargo, and equipment. This position is therefore designated as a safety sensitive position and is subject to mandatory pre-employment and, where permitted, post-hire drug testing.

Key job responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally to launch new products, and use data/customer feedback to inform the evolution of products and services, measure the impact of launches, and identify growth opportunities
- Development of the overall program strategy, tactically driving teams in and outside of your organization to deliver
- Define the program (mission, vision, tenets), set objectives, analyze data and drive improvements that are quantified with metrics
- Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment, seeking to understand business problems, automation limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions and reasons behind leadership decisions
- Partner with teams across the business you support and beyond to source, allocate, and coordinate resources
- Partner with customers, internal/external teams, and engineering teams to determine what projects move forward and in what priority order
- Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks (before they become roadblocks)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree or equivalent
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
- Knowledge of key customer experience metrics and methodology (e.g., NPS)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
