Access Clinician Opporrunity - Master's Level or Licensed Clinician

This is a Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm position. Some evening hours are required on an as needed basis.

The main responsibility of the Access Clinician is to support the outpatient clinic through completion of referral intakes for outpatient therapy services and providing interim treatment until caseload assignment. The access clinician will receive and screen referrals within a specified timeframe, complete intake assessments and paperwork, and develop initial short term treatment planning to support individuals awaiting placement. The access clinician will be supervised by and work closely with the clinic manager to ensure appropriate referral screening process and eventual therapist caseload assignment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review incoming referrals for outpatient therapy in clinic from internal and external referral sites
• Schedule and complete intake assessments and necessary forms within a specified timeframe
• Complete and implement initial treatment plans to provide interim support to clients awaiting placement with an outpatient therapist
• Ability to maintain a small caseload of short term clients weekly
• Coordinates and collaborates with intake coordinators, admissions department, clinic manager, and director of outpatient services
• Accepts supervision , and attends regularly-scheduled team , or supervision meetings, scheduled trainings
• Ability to assess and monitor for client safety and needs
• Ability to provide both in person and virtual appointments as necessary to meet needs of clients
• Completes necessary administrative duties in timely manner, including clinical documentation, data collection and reporting

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology or related program from an accredited college/university
• License (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT)  Eligibility required
• LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT preferred
• Demonstrated written and oral communication
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel software
