Accounting Manager

Position Overview: The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing all accounting activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This includes overseeing the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, and financial reporting. The Accounting Manager will also be responsible for managing the team of accounting personnel and ensuring the timely delivery of financial services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Oversee all accounting including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Prepare financial statements and other reports.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to management.
• Prepare and submit tax filings and payments on time.
• Review and approve budget proposals.
• Manage the team of accounting personnel.
• Review and recommend changes to existing accounting policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.
• At least five years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
