Application Developer III

Position Summary:

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking an Application Developer III for the Office of Information Technology. Among the key duties of this position are the following:

• Provides analytical and programming support for various University administrative and academic offices.
• Analyzes, plans, designs, develops, implements, and maintains of the legacy Mainframe application system resources (Enterprise COBOL , IMS TM , JCL MVS /OS Utilities, SQL ).

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• A minimum of 7 years progressive experience in an analytical and programming environment with an emphasis on business knowledge acquisition, systems design, and COBOL .
