The Lilly Development Procurement team supports late-stage development, clinical trials, and commercialization activities for Lilly’s R&D portfolio. This is accomplished by working closely with business partners to implement the sourcing and production strategy for the Bioprocess Research & Development, Device Delivery & Connected Systems and Synthetic Molecule Design & Development organizations which make up the Medicines Innovation Hub and Product Delivery.
In this role, you will lead the sourcing process from strategy development and supplier selection through contract negotiations and ongoing relationship management. This role will coordinate and lead the sourcing process to enable competitive selection of suppliers, as well as use market knowledge and analysis to create a stronger and more agile supplier base for the assigned platforms & therapeutic areas. This individual will provide sourcing support for Development spend in a variety of categories, including analytical services, container closures, devices, drug product/substance manufacturing, equipment, printed packaging, and raw materials.
