Job Description - Automotive Business Development Manager

Carl Black Automotive Group is a growing organization that focuses our efforts on 100% customer satisfaction. The Carl Black organization is a very successful, privately owned group of four GM dealerships in the southeast region. We are currently seeking the right individual that desires the opportunity to grow professionally and financially by managing the Business Development Center of our Chevrolet dealership in Nashville Tennessee. Job Description: The Business Development Manager will motivate, train and direct the business development representatives for both the Sales and Service department representatives. The BDC Manager will be responsible for hands on managing of team members with a major focus on coaching, motivating, and mentoring their team. The BDC Manager will have authority to take charge and manage appropriately to provide driven results and ultimate customer service. Job Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, coach, counsel and monitor the performance of business development representatives in order to assure top performance.
  • Work alongside department managers to develop appointment setting strategies for both the Sales and Service Departments.
  • Consult with other department managers on resolving any customer service issues that may arise.
  • Develop and execute outbound internet and phone campaigns to drive customer traffic into the dealership.
  • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales and service forecasts
  • Utilize Tekion and VIN Solution data managementsystems.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience outbound marketing management, or supervisory position ready to advance into a marketing management role.
  • Experience with digital marketing.
  • Experience with Microsoft programs.
  • Experience with multi-line phone system.
  • Automotive sales experience is a PLUS.
  • Superior leadership skills.
  • Ability to stay confident in high stress/high activity times.
  • Excellent Customer Relations and Service.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Clean driving record.
