Job Summary:
Bob Bell Ford Hyundai, a leading family owned dealership in the Glen Burnie, Maryland area, is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Used Car Sales Manager to join our team. This is a full-time management role in which you will be responsible for overseeing the sales activities of our used car department. You will lead a team of sales associates, set and achieve sales goals, and contribute to the overall success of our dealership.

This is a base plus commission sales job, with the potential for high earnings based on performance. Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their sales goals.
- Set and monitor sales targets for the used car department and work with sales associates to achieve them.
- Oversee the entire sales process, from customer inquiry to vehicle delivery, ensuring a positive and seamless experience for customers.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to develop effective sales strategies.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge and keep up-to-date with new features, pricing, and incentives for all used cars.
- Train sales associates on selling techniques, product knowledge, and dealership processes.
- Assist with customer interactions when necessary, including negotiating deals and resolving customer concerns.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and service, to ensure a smooth and efficient sales process.
- Prepare and submit sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 2 years in a management role.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and coach a sales team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the automotive industry, including current trends and consumer behavior.
- Familiarity with sales techniques and strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dealership management software.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
