Job Description - Business Development Representative

Wylander Solutions, a recruiting company specializing in the disaster restoration industry, is seeking a Business Development Representative in the Fort Meyers, FL area.

Business Development Representative Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base Salary $50K + DOE, plus 5% commission on Mitigation and 1% on construction
  • Company Vehicle

They are seeking a candidate who can create new prospects and clients, provide an exceptional client experience, ability to show compassion, while building new relationships with organizations to help them achieve their next stage of growth. The Business Development Representative is responsible for achieving sales goals and executing sales plans within an assigned sales territory and/or account. They will need to generate and secure new sales revenue by prospecting and adding customers.

 

Business Development Representative Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential new customers and Referral Sources
  • Complete weekly and monthly sales reports
  • Develop and maintain monthly marketing routes
  • Make sales presentations and record sale activities
  • Perform sales calls resulting in scheduled meetings with target referral prospects
  • Attend weekly sales meetings
  • Maintain phone and in-person contact with existing customers
  • Maintain and update customer contact database
  • Assist in the development of marketing programs- per request by Management
  • Make group presentation to prospect organizations
  • Consistent, effective involvement in trade, community and networking organizations and participate in networking activities and events
  • Participate in affiliate organization’s social activities
  • Gain commitment from customers leading to referrals of those in need of restoration services
  • Participate in general brand awareness by means of social media marketing (according to company policy)
  • Assist in the development of marketing materials

  Qualifications:

  • 5+ years outside sales experience required, within an adjacent industry desired
  • STRONG social media presence
  • Must be able to attend networking functions 2-4 evenings a month
  • Moderate-level Microsoft Office skills
  • Valid driver's license
