Job Title: Inventory Specialist

Overview

This position performs shipping, receiving and inventory management for incoming and outgoing parts of an automotive manufacturing facility.

Job Description

• Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels, conduct regular physical inventories, and reconcile discrepancies. Ensure that inventory records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Data Entry: Accurately enter and manage inventory data in the inventory management system. Maintain detailed records of purchases, shipments, and inventory transactions.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve inventory management processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Manages raw material and critical supply inventories, including maintenance and cleaning of inventory area, inventory organization and racking, inventory cycle counting and reporting, routine inventory accounting.
• Works closely with Logistics and performs cross-functional duties with other departments.

Hard Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in inventory management, purchasing, or a related role.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Jacksonville, Florida.

Work Environment

The role involves working outdoors in varying weather conditions, majority will be spent inside with occasional outdoors.
