Job Description

As a Waterpark Cashier, you will:

• Accept approved forms of payment adhering to accounting standard (with full and complete accountability) up to and including but not limited to: cash, credit cards and vouchers charges
• Follow and comply with all departmental cash/check handling procedures
• Greet all guests that arrive within visible area
• Apply suggestive selling techniques to provide helpful guest service and maximize sales
• Record information pertaining to services rendered
• Maintain cash drawer/bank accountability per company policies
• Adhere to department standard operating procedural manual to include: service standards, cash/check handling procedures, safety and security, stocking and requisitioning
• Conform to discount/complimentary guest check procedures
• Participate in company monthly Goals & Measurements Program
• Be responsible for providing excellent service to owners and guests alike
• Perform POS system responsibility per guidelines
• Respond to guest inquiries, complaints in a professional and urgent manner
• Maintain required department records with accuracy
• Follow guest walk-out department procedures
• Complete opening/running/closing duties as assigned
• Other duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 35lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions
• Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to interact with all levels of team members and guests in an attentive and service-oriented manner
• Must be at least 18 and have a valid driver’s license to drive company equipment
